REGISTRATION

Payment

All fees must be paid by credit card during the registration process. If you would like to pay by bank transfer, please contact Nora Botros at botros@lausanne-tourisme.ch. 

Conference pass

The ICDAR 2021 conference pass provides access to the whole conference program from September 5-10, including all pre-conference events (workshops, tutorials and doctoral consortium). On-site participation includes coffee breaks, lunch during the main conference days, social program, and banquet.

Pre-conference pass

The ICDAR 2021 pre-conference pass provides access to all pre-conference events from September 5-7 (workshops, tutorials, and doctoral consortium). On-site participation includes coffee breaks.

Full registration associated with accepted paper before July 5

Each accepted paper requires at least one author to have performed a full registration before July 5, in order for the paper to be included and published in the conference or workshop proceedings. One full registration covers a maximum of 2 papers by the same author. Note that the presenter of the paper does not need to be the same author who made the full registration.

ICDAR-IJDAR journal track papers

Authors of papers accepted into the ICDAR-IJDAR journal track must follow the same registration guidelines as authors of other accepted papers at the main conference.

Covid notice 1 (on-site participation)

We encourage participants to register for on-site participation if they plan to attend the conference in person. In the case of Covid-related cancellations of social activities, a discount will be applied. Furthermore, if travel is not possible due to Covid-related restrictions, a downgrade to on-line participation will be applied, refunding the difference in the registration fees.

Covid notice 2 (first come, first serve)

Due to the uncertainty arising from Covid, on-site participation to scientific and/or social events might be restricted to a certain number of persons. Should it become necessary to prioritize participation, the date of payment of the registration fee will be taken into account, following the “first come, first serve” principle.

IAPR member

To qualify for the IAPR Member rate, registrants need to identify the relevant association and enter the IAPR Membership ID during the registration process.

Student

Full-time university students of all levels of university degrees are eligible to register at the student rate. A copy of your student ID card OR an official certificate of your student status must be given during the registration process. Without this, the full non-member rate will be charged.

Cancellation policy

All cancellation has done be done by a written notice to botros@lausanne-tourisme.ch

• Cancellations before July 5, 2021, will incur a CHF 100.- cancellation fee
• Cancellations before August 5, 2021, will incur a 50% cancellation fee
• Cancellations after August 5, 2021, will receive no refund
